Hakone Open Air Museum

Open Air Museum, Hakone.
Once in late winter some time ago, I had a wonderful experience that I visited the Hakone Open Air Museum in Japan. It's an outdoor museum that displays works by both Japanese and western artists, such as Picasso, Matisse, and many others. It attempts to create a harmony of nature and art by exhibiting various sculptures on its spacious grounds with breathtaking views of the surrounding valley and mountains of Hakone. If you like art and nature, this is the place for you.
Besides the outdoor sculptures, the museum features various indoor galleries. There is a sizable Picasso collection, consisting of paintings, prints, sculptures and ceramic creations.

Lake Ashi, Hakone, Japan.
Hakone is a popular destination among Japanese and international tourists looking for a break from Tokyo, which I highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood. It's not too far and easy access from Tokyo by train. Hakone is famous for hot springs, outdoor activities, and natural beauty. You can reach the Hakone Mountains by ropeway and enjoy spectacular views from the top. When you're here, do not forget to visit Ashi lake, one of my favorite parts of the trip.
Lake Ashi (Japanese: Ashinoko) is absolutely beautiful and romantic, and is known for its views of Mt.Fuji, the symbol of Hakone. There are several sightseeing boats cruising the lake, providing scenic views for tourists. However, the view of Mt.Fuji tends to be better during the colder seasons of the year than in summer, as told by my tourist guide.
Mt.Fuji seen from the lake. On the right hand side of the pic is a torii in the water.
This view is from the rope way ride to Hakone moutains.
This is a famous torii in the water of lake Ashi which is a very popular tourist attraction

And now, me, in Dallas, wearing F21 turtle neck top and sunglasses, CdG deconstructed skirt, Alexander wang wedge, Yigal bag.
Thank you so much for your visiting and comments!!
Wishing you all a wonderful day ahead!!Kisses...Hanh ;-)

Tei Tei for Japanese cuisine // Creamy

Creamy.
I love my old silky, creamy Giambattista Valli for Moncler blouse, especially the puffy sleeves which made the statement. When I saw this Yigal skirt some time ago, I thought about the top; they would go perfectly together. Until now, I haven't had a chance to share with you this look, an elegantly soft-sophisticated-yet-chic look.
I love the beaded details at the skirt's waist. Cross bracelet from The Woods. Other cuffs from brand ???

Tei Tei
If you ask me what is my all time favorite restaurant in Dallas, I have to say it's Tei Tei. It's a mixture of traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine, and is billed as a Robata Bar. If you're looking for a restaurant that has a fair price, excellent service, fun/hip/chic environment, deliciously fresh food, Tei Tei is the perfect restaurant for you. You'll find many dishes that are casual and simple, such as the king crab legs or giant shrimp, which are simply grilled with a little salt. It's absolutely fresh, of the highest quality, and has a natural taste. They have incredibly fresh sushi and sashimi selections; my favorite is Spanish mackerel with deep fried its bone. Too many good things to say about this place. We love TeiTei and always have a delightful experience there..
Appetizer plate created by the chef to complement our glasses of Rose'.
I love the texture of ice-fish. It's kinda crunchy.
Slow braided cooked snail, my favorite. I love to try exotic food.
Fresh grilled big eye golden fish. This is just simply grilled because it's the high quality and freshness of the fish that's important. Naturally sweet, it melts in your mouth..yum!!
This is my hubby's favorite dish, scallops with sea urchin.
A glass of Merriman Pinot Rose, selling by the glass at the Tei Tei bar. It delightfully complements the food.
Rose' wine is just the perfect drink for the spring and summer. It's so sexy, chic and sophisticated. It's like a party in every glass. Ready to rock!!
Thank you so much for your support and comments!
Wish you all a happy Sunday!!!
Big hugs....Hanh ;-)

Forever 21

Before I went to Cancun, I bought this Forever 21 jumpsuit which comes with the belt and packed along with me. This jumpsuit has become my favorite outfit on the trip. I've got so many compliments from it and I styled it with many different looks.
Worn with F21 plaid shirt, and I belted the shirt with a Jcrew gold shimmer belt to give it a fancier look and a touch of the unexpected.

I paired the outfit with my new Ann D spring 2010 boots. The power of Ann D design is striking, strong and serious. It's an urban chic look, but I wanted to make the boots suitable for the beach, giving it a tropical feel.
Wooden cuffs from Target, Gucci sunnies.

Let's give it a little casual, relaxing look by taking off the Jcrew belt and loosening the F21 plaid shirt.
Wore the F21 jumpsuit with a Target scarf, and F21 necklace. The Ann D boots were actually practical, being versatile on the trip (talk about packing lightly for travel, I just brought along the Ann D boots, one pair of Prada sandals and Jcrew flip flops)
Again adding a Jcrew gold shimmer belt for fun. Target bag and scarf as a headscarf.
See you all in Dallas! Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend!!!
Thank you so much for your support!!!

Sping Break in Cancun, Mexico

I can't believe it, spring is arriving in about a week. It's exciting! And for this year spring break, we're going to Cancun, Mexico.
Cancun is convenient for us to visit. It's just about 2 1/2 hours flight from Dallas, TX. It is a world-renowned tourist resort. Four million visitors arrive each year in an average of 190 flights daily. The hotel zone offers a broad range of accommodations, ranging from relatively inexpensive motel style facilities to high-priced luxury hotels. If you are looking for a non-stop party, Cancun is your choice! Whether its partying on the beach all day or raving at the club late into the morning, there are no restrictions.
Spring break in Cancun is normally busy and hectic with all the college students. Staying at the Rizt Carlton is more quiet, tranquil and relaxing for a family with young kids. There are lots of activities for everyone like jetski, parasail, a trip for snorkeling, swimming with dophins, crafts for kids, and of course the beautiful blue ocean, white sand beach. The hotel staff is well trained to give excelent service.
Here are some our pictures on the beach. We're having fun!
